Following his highly anticipated arrival at Highbury in 1995 from Inter Milan, Dennis Bergkamp would spend the remaining 11 years of his career at Arsenal and secure legendary status in the process.
Already an international star with a huge reputation, the Dutchman’s performances lit up the English top flight and Bergkamp won three Premier League titles and four FA Cups with the North London club.
In 2017, Bergkamp’s goal against Newcastle United at St. James’ Park in March 2002 was voted the greatest goal in the history of the Premier League. He was inducted into the English Football Hall of Fame in 2007 and was named in the 1998 FIFA World Cup All-Star Team after Holland reached the semi-finals.
